Certification OHSAS 18001   18/12/2009     Orton is proud to announce that it's facility in Piacenza, Italy has obtained the certification OHSAS 18001 for heath and safety program (to download certificate pls click here). The OHSAS 18001 standard has introduced at Orton an important process of dedicated activities to make sure that hazards, risks and preventive measures are under total control in the Piacenza workplace. This last important achievement represent the evidence of Orton efforts in meeting the latest International Standards of excellence in view of continuous improvements in its manufacturing activities and processes. The Orton facilities are of course also operating since several years in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 certification for Quality Control and ISO 14001 certification for Environmental Management.
